First of all i’d like to congratulate Lucas on his new film ‘Son of the South’  I know he’s going to do wonderful in it and i’m very intrigued to see it. Working on a Spike-Lee project is a very good thing!

Also I know some are concerned about what it means for MacGyver getting a season 4 and I don’t think we should be too worried because nowadays many actors/actresses do both tv and movie productions some examples would be Taraji P. Henson she does movies along with Empire and Cole Sprouse just had a movie out along with quite a few others from Riverdale who are doing movies as well.

I’m thinking too he probably would have done a couple movies in between previous seasons but the filming schedule’s might have been set for when  filming Macgyver was to take place so he didn’t do them where as the filming for ‘Son of the South’ is taking place between seasons.

Lastly as an article stated it also would have been kind of pointless inviting the MacGyver cast to PaleyFest only to cancel the show afterwords.
