I don't normally do this, but my brother and sister in law are struggling financially due to pancreatic cancer in my sister in law and a spinal infection threatening paralysis in my brother in law making it so that they can't work.
I'm so proud to call these people my family. My sister in law works for a charitable organization that helps get the addicted and homeless of the street and back on their feet.
My brother in law owns his own niche construction company doing finishing work. He also does odds and ends for free for neighbors who need it and is doing a complete overhaul on his mom's house on his own.
EI for illness isn't covering all of their bills. They've got 2 kids who are too young to work. Family has been trying to cover groceries and some medical expenses, but it still isn't enough.
If you're able to donate anything, I'd be very appreciative, and I know they would be too. If anyone is able to donate, I may be able to crochet you a snowflake in any colour you like if you send me proof of donation ($5 and over only).
