If you read a book and it's not completely destroyed by the end, did you really read a book?

BIG hug! (ouch...)
i need someone to play with my spine like a slinky i need that epic back crack
I just broke the spine on the book I’m currently reading for the first time today. I’ve seen people do it on TikTok and heard the debates about it but I wanted to try it and see what it would do. Y’know, join in on the trend. It was an impulsive action and the cracking of the spine hurt my soul but it’s a lot easier to hold the book now. I always fail to realize that books that have cracked spines and crumpled pages are the ones that have been loved and used the most. I want my books to looked used and loved. Because they are, so deeply loved. Anyways, as for the spine cracking thing I don’t know if I’ll do it again.
Usually when my boyfriend hugs me, he cracks my back on accident, and we like to laugh about it because I call him my chiropractor when it happens.
One day though, I came up to hug him and when he squeezed me (the TINIEST bit) I swear my spine like tik tak toed up and cracked 6 different times: all at once.
He was mortified- I felt refreshed.
Bodie BEARHUGSSSSSSSSSSSS
got this idea from their twitter accounts
i'll admit , my twitter's never been this fun before i joined the dc fandom XDDDD
Fact
When I bend backwards to crack my back, at least three witnesses complain of backpains moments later. Also, I can rest on my hands and feet whilst bent backward.
