not gonna lie, i'm very excited for the cover art i'm working on for Spinnerets! (it's going to be a stand alone for spark and umbra)

the pansies were saved from some old practice sketches from the flowers, scrolls, and fancy borders book , which I highly rec if you'd like to learn how to get a late 1800s / early 1900s look for illustrations! sometimes it can be daunting when there's a lot of design elements happening and you're not sure where to start

i kept the courting web's design pretty simple, but i'd really like to have the framing on this next one be a little more ornate since there won't be a web focus this time
