Roll To Seduce The Dragon

He'd done poorly indeed. Ena had not only taken note of his little slip up, but she'd been left disappointed. This was the worst possible outcome from his actions, save for her taking offense to the mention of Rajaion... though there was still possibility for it to occur. Alfonse needed to try and stop himself from saying anything else stupid so that didn't happen.
"I-- er, well," Alfonse coughed, trying to stall for just a moment to give himself time to think. "E-even still, I didn't think it fair to assume you wished to... participate. Er... I wasn't certain if it would be... on account of, ah... n-never mind. You made your stance clear enough anyway. I shouldn't waste time trying to explain myself."
The fact that he had the wherewithal to cut himself off was a rare stroke of luck. If nobody stopped him, he could keep going like that practically indefinitely, growing more awkward by the second. Ena was spared that for now. That wasn't to say she had escaped awkwardness entirely-- oh, no, the worst was yet to come.
Alfonse stepped closer to her, face still burning with humiliation from the previous attempt. His eyes locked with Ena's briefly before turning away, and he stepped back, mumbling an apology. Trying to muster up the courage for this was more difficult than he had imagined. How could he face mortal peril more easily than a silly kiss? What was wrong with him?
"...I, er... don't really... do this often," Alfonse explained. "This is... I'm not good at it all. The, um... r-romance, I suppose you could call it. N-not that this has to be... that! Just... I don't really-- never mind. I should just..."
Make his move. That was what he should do. He hesitantly pulled Ena into a gentle embrace, holding her close to his body. It was something of a mistake already, he feared; dragon laguz had empathic abilities, didn't they? Up close like this, his nervousness would be impossible to hide, especially with his heart racing as it was. He needed to hurry up. The longer he took, the more time he was giving himself to worry.
Hesitation was something of a blessing for just a moment, though. It slowed Alfonse down just enough that he didn't crash into Ena like he had the previous time. Instead, his lips slowly caressed hers, eyes fluttering shut as he allowed himself to fully sink into the kiss. He even managed to avoid immediately pulling away this time!
