After 25 years of watching the ‘ring’ spin on buffy, I really enjoy these lil moments when Jensen and Misha actually do contact spin their weapons.
(I swear I can hear that gif)
Cathedral Gardens, Manchester.
Today's Walking Photos: Here’s a rather eye-pleasing thing I saw during my walk on this ridiculously warm and sunny spring day. And because I care about you and feel you deserve the full experience, here also is a poor-quality animated GIF of the spinny thing in motion. Stupid unsteady hands!

Work doodles from today!
We have:
-another fan/spinning thing from my childhood
-a doodle of a man with a mustache (trying out drawing with one connected line)
-more birds!
-cartoon mouse
-a theatre stage (did that without a reference but it came out odd)
-a dragon (most likely Falbus) chilling out to some music (because those totally look like headphones)
Can I tell you, I've been trying that spinny thing with inconsequential things like my remote control but I have not been able to do it with a plastic water bottle
You can. You did. You should try it with nothing made of glass. 👀
My biggest advice from my inexperienced self re a water bottle is it needs to have water in it. This may sound obvious, but it can’t be empty. You need something with weight in it. It’s almost like a lil toss. Maybe even start with flipping it in a lil toss instead and then get less and less distance from your hand. I can pretty consistently do a 180. I can do a 360 toss but not a 360 contact.
Sometimes I think about the fact that Jensen catches it on the blade because they are prop weapons. You wouldn’t want to do that with anything that was actually sharp...
A batch of work doodles from sometime earlier this week that I didn’t post due to needing to sort through them.
The first one is what lead to me drawing the second one (which is why that’s in here). The second one is a water effect is like to test in an animation at some point.
Then we have random stuff that came to mind. The third pic is something I had as a kid but I can’t remember what on Earth it’s called.
I drew a pig without using a reference (which is why it may look a bit odd), a little alien, a melting monster Finn (I blame my love of horror and Adventure Time), a tent, a bird, and an open book with the pages flipping out.
