Gonna mix some Zemlja Gruva in there (the group she was a vocalist for) because otherwise it'd be slim pickings.

Sticking this under a cut in case people are sick of me ranting about her already.

In Corpore Sano: The song that started it all! My mom literally called me at work raving about it, and I was very confused because my mom does not care about Eurovision. But after a couple listens, I totally got it. This song has a very meaningful message about our society's obsession with beauty and physical health while neglecting mental health and not providing the proper infrastructure to actually care for our health. The performance is incredible and really adds to the song. Highly 10/10 recommend (the national final version has full English subtitles!)

Mama: This is technically ZG, but unironically, this song is carrying my will to live. It's about feeling connected to previous generations and to the next one and knowing that you're part of a whole. It's very heartfelt, unlike a lot of her other stuff, and comforting and it sounds like a hug.

Mekano: Another one railing against the state of society and how we all just get comfortable in our little grooves and routines and don't do anything meaningful.

Neam Šamana: This one is super ironic and makes fun of celebrity culture and the concept of spirit animals (I think?) (as appropriated by non-Native American people). Also she says "jebiga" ("fuck it") a bunch of times, which is hilarious.

Nisam Znala Da Sam Ovo Htela: Translation: I didn't know I wanted this. Another ZG one, and the lyrics are about how her life turned out different than she expected. The reason why this cracked my top 5 is because I adore the way the music video is filmed, just kind of following her around her apartment. It's very artistic.

16. A fic you're very proud of? This one right here. It practically wrote itself. I could see the whole thing unfolding, and the characterization felt very strong to me, and out of everything I've written for the fandom, it feels the most canon. I'm happy it's the most popular thing I've written.

For the kidnapping AU,

Seems like a perfect time for Pepa to grasp her powers better (assuming something angers her enough or pushes her) / ascend and get them glowy eyes c:

I do kinda love the idea that for the triplets (and for the grandkids but like, only when they’re much older) if pushed could kinda unlock new levels for the gifts, so like Pepa being forced to get a better grasp on her powers and then having complete control over weather?? Would be awesome. I like the idea to of Julieta’s powers growing to a point where she can just straight up heal, no food necessary, just love, and she gets glowy eyed there too and that’d be super useful for her to unlock too in the midst of all this. Bruno already has glowy eyes, but it’s be cool for him to level up to, idk maybe seeing different futures based on different possibilities, or actually being able to anticipate things right before they happen??

Idk but 100% yes to glowy eyes.
