Okay, so Charmed had like four different potential spin-off plans/ideas and none of them really worked out obviously, but I was kind of just going through all of the episodes for ideas of what some of the supporting casts could have looked like (I’m gonna post it eventually, but I gotta organize it first) and just, hear me out:
Either Billie Jenkins or Hope from Little Box of Horrors is our main character. Both of them have very different personalities and appeals as main characters, so it kind of spins out differently depending on which is the main-main character.
Either way, they’re both in the main cast. With Hope being there, Darcy is also involved and remarkably level-headed about it. She’s still a mortal, but is often the one hearing about the gossip going around. As a result, she’s often the one who knows about innocents in trouble and when something suspiciously magical is going on.
Speed from Battle of the Hexes, who doesn’t know about magic initially, continually gets involved trying to help the innocent of the week and ends up in the trouble bit. He is so sarcastic, but he’s also ride or die for his friends. Once he discovers magic, he ends up encouraging the group to experiment with their powers, which causes a few chaotic episodes but he’s still a good friend.
Max Franklin from Secret and Guys is probably the most skilled at using his powers, but is also the most leery about getting involved in demonic or dangerous situations due to his father getting shot last time. He’s the voice of reason a lot of the time, but also is drawn to helping people anyways.
Aviva from the Fourth Sister is the tired goth grad student that ends up reluctantly mentoring them so that they don’t end up dead. She doesn’t have any active powers, but she’s still a practitioner. (Except where she ends up getting premonitions, whoops.)
They get a Whitelighter too! Eventually, at least. It’s either J.D. Williams or Mikelle, who was originally an innocent. Either way, someone ends up in a forbidden love relationship with the Whitelighter.
There are also some familiar reoccurring characters.
Kyle Gwydion is one of their TA’s. No, none of them knew about each other originally either. He doesn’t have really any kind of magical knowledge, but turns out that being the Chosen One applies to more than just Tuatha’s wand and helps out occasionally. He either is or did date Jenny Gordon, but idk if she’d be a reoccurring character or not since she didn’t really have a personality.
Y’know how I said, Speed finds out about magic eventually? Yeah, it’s not really a “we should probably tell you” thing. It’s more of a freak out way. And y’know what, Speed isn’t Catholic but his momma is so off he goes to a confessional because his friends?? Use magic?? Which isn’t that evil? Well, says a former warlock-current priest, magic helped save him from becoming evil, so now Brendan Rowe gets to help out with his unfortunately very in-depth and thorough knowledge of evil, demons, and the Underworld.
Needless to say, the Elders aren’t actually just letting a newbie Whitelighter be the only one looking after: half of the Ultimate Power, the Guardian of Pandora’s Box, a weirdly accepting mortal, a future whitelighter, a witch, a practitioner that did get involved with demons, and the Chosen One. And y’know what, there’s an Elder-who-used-to-be-a-witch that’s around their age, so Kevin from Witches in Tights doesn’t get involved but keeps an eye on them and on super rare occasions, will sketch out something to help them when they’re in a pinch. Jonnah (from season eight) isn’t very impressed, but is also watching them with Kevin and has to admit that they’re not dead yet, so someone’s doing something right.
Wow, Abi, you may ask. Can you shamelessly add any other oneshot characters from Charmed into this?
I’m so happy you asked, because Billie eventually finds Christy and the squad is all crowded in Aviva’s living room and Christy freaks out and now Aviva’s trash can is on fire.
Aviva sighs and calls Tyler Michaels.

Ok, so, the promt with one of the characters in Mario’s Madness would be Beta Luigi for this fakemon. So, the deal is that, Luigi could not save his brother from King Boo and is locked out of the mansion. So, he’s depressed. What if instead, we did King Boo, being the one who did it? Basically, I did say loosely based on the prompt, so, yeah.
For the first retainer (technically not first, we’re not doing in chronological order), we’ll do a Toxic Chain Smeargle:
Now, when thinking of new abilities and power sets, I came up with the idea that the paint that Smeargle produces from the tail now produces a toxic, oil like substance like oil paint or oil pastels
This substance is basically toxic, but not in the corrosive sense. Instead, when applied to a surface, it kinda just stays there and is really difficult to remove. A thing about this oil is that once you come into contact with it, you will suffer from a random effect, mainly dizziness, nausea, paranoia, hysteria etc. The oil could also cause Hallucinations if you’re being around it for too long.
Now, this smeargle also has another ability that being able to change the colour of the oil at will and remotely, this gives him the ability to camouflage his oil traps but also to give like what I call: A Colour Flashbang. Basically, he uses the oil to surround the victim but also to rapidly change colours to further induce the aforementioned effects of the oil.
Now with all this, you may expect that this is a Poison/Psychic right? Well, no. This retainer is Poison/Ghost as it plays into the next ability which I call: Soul Canvas. When the victim is fully unconscious, their soul becomes detached from their body and absorbed into the paint. The smeargle is then able to use the souls for other purposes, one being a new ability called: Oily Visage. Basically, whenever he transfers the soul into a painting he makes, the painting would go from 2D to 3D, which means that he could shove souls into art he makes to create constructs. These constructs would obey his every command and is able use Pokémon moves depending on the colour of the oil.
Lastly, I want to make his oil flammable because oil is already flammable so I think it ignites pretty quickly. This plays into his signature move: Oil Spill
This is a base 40 power special spread move that has an interesting effect. Whenever an opponent is hit by the move (regardless of immunity), for the next 6 turns the opponent’s speed will go down by -1 for each turn. However, if you use a fire type move after using Oil Spill, after dealing damage, the oil would ignite and catch on fire before exploding, dealing a max damage of 350 to each pokemon and burning them afterwards, but after the end of each turn, the explosive power decreased by 50 base power. In canon, this is explained by there’s more oil at the beginning so more oil to ignite and explode, but not enough to slow it down, than overtime, they become opposites.
Design wise, I like to imagine it resembles Neo Smeargle and Ruffiti by Lockstin & Gnoggin.
Stay spread: It’s HP is still 88, and the stat spread is shown to be defensively bulky and fast but not much attack of special attack.
With all that said, this is the Toxic Chain Smeargle I dub: Hoilucinart
I LIKE THIS SMEARGLE DESIGN! I think Smeargle is a cute pokemon and doesn't get the love it deserves, and considering it is also a pokémon commonly found in the Terarrium, it would only make sense.
That being said,
It reminds me of Bowser Jrs. Paint from Mario Sunshine! Maybe it could also kinda work like that! Or at least that's how I visualize it!
OOOOOOH, Maybe the tail could have wrappings on it,,, staring...
Big maybes, it could look like some, miserable artist that is begging for inspiration, clinging onto the last spark of motivation it has left. Something like that!
You're cooking!
FAKE TV MEME: Jackson Whittemore's relocation to London is not an easy one; he thought he left the supernatural drama behind in Beacon Hills. But adjusting to the bustling metropolis takes time, especially when Jackson offends an Alpha from an old aristocratic legacy of powerful werewolves with centuries of politics and secrets. Somehow when Peter Hale arrives to help smooth things over Jackson can't help but wonder what the schemer has in mind. Luckily Danny is always available to Skype.
