Welcome Spinosaurus Mirabilis! A new Species of Spinosaurus was just discovered,and of course,i had to draw this beautiful Spinosaurid.
The most unique Characteristics of this New Species are:
1) The larger Crest on it's head
2) A less Robust Skull than Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus
3) It's fossils were found more inland of Niger, supporting the idea of Spinosaurus hunting in the shores or shallow waters of rivers/lakes like a Heron,rather than going for a Swim chasing it's prey (Fish)
This opens a lot of new discoveries for Spinosauridae after 11 years of nothing! It's truly exciting and i'm glad i'm alive to see this new Species be published.
