So you said a colorless core is a bad thing, why is that? Some sort of reversion happens?

Pom: “I dunno what yer talkin’ ‘bout, anon dude.”

Sol: “That’s not for you, get out of here you’re a walking spoiler.”Pom: “But it was in OUR inbox!” Sol: “I know hun, but as funny as it would be to see you try to explain, I like being in the limelight, so go sit with the others and actually try to learn something for once.”

Sol: “As for the colorless cores, it doesn’t... quite do that. In fact it’s the bit of the opposite. Simon and I are going to explain more about them individually, but for now I’ll just explain the just of it. So instead of it reversing us, which is what happens when our cores break, and lose their magic, symptoms for both a black and white core is like our bodies reacting to either too much magic or not enough. In both scenarios we basically hit the peak of our magic, usually resulting in us going bat shit crazy because we can’t exactly think straight. Kind of like how the flesh bodies will do whatever it takes to survive, or when it gets that empowering adrenaline rush. The bad thing about it is we can’t think straight, regardless of how straight your morals are, colorless cores will take whatever magic they have in sight, whether they need it or not. They’ll destroy anything to get it, and take out anything in their way. We’re really greedy creatures.”

Sol: “So it’s best to just get out of the way.”

I'm not a mun... but I do love all the Brute and Spiorch/Simon stuff that you and Player5 do, so uh... if it's okay with you guys... could I slip in a 💤 for that? (if it's not okay, then that's fine too!)

New Wave Bossa Nova for Spiorch?

New Wave Bossa Nova: Has your character ever had to be reminded of their purpose? Was it a painful experience? Tell us about it.

(( Okay off the bat I’m just going to do this because it’s easier for me to read when both their names are in the same posts. Spiorch = Simon, Splorch = Sol.

Whoo boi this is a tough one you picked, especially for Simon. Mostly because, he thinks he knows his purpose, but he doesn’t.Simon is a very. Uh. Empty person/lava creature/what ever he is. He doesn’t really have any direction on what his purpose is and he doesn’t know how to give himself one. He barely knows how to really do anything, and he doesn’t comprehend a lot either. The only thing he knows is to get power, getting power means he feels stronger, feeling stronger means he’s better than Sol, being better than Sol means he has to be doing something right. Yet Sol always accomplishes more somehow, even though he’s weaker. He’s been to achieve happiness, when Simon can’t even understand it.

In summary: He has no idea what his purpose is and he’s constantly reminded that every time he looks at his core. The only thing they can think of being his purpose is to be better than Sol, and he has no idea who do to do that. Yet. ))
