NIGHTMARE is a taryonix. do i even NEED to explain this????? the black gooey scary skeleton monster doodle who evolved because it had the freakiest looking skeleton and then became the LEADER of the grunkul pack BECAUSE he was the top of the line??? hello????? hes so taryonix coded what. the only actual issue with this is that taryonix isnt a dark type its a beast/earth but ehhhhh..... hes edgy enough to basically be dark right??? og nm was a grunkul btw he evolved when he turned emo

DUST is a spiraryu. this is SO perfect for him because kowosu evolve into spiraryu when they feel theyre too weak to accomplish anything and become consumed by an insatiable greed for power. and then they become these unstoppable killing machines because they couldnt defend themselves (or anything else) in the past. LITERALLY dust when he cant beat the human and kills everyone in the underground to become stronger. and he does this again and again and again and nothing else matters anymore...... SPIRARYU ALSO HAS A HOOD WITH THE GLOWING RED EYES VISIBLE. ITS LITERALLY HIM...!!! spiraryu is dark/melee type btw

HORROR is a tasmarauder. this one was a lil more difficult... but i think this is the best doodle for him. tasmarauder were actually hunted to extinction because they lived in solitude as excellent and fearful predators but when people began to populate their island they saw tasmarauder as nothing but a threat. so now they only exist in runic island which ig kinda preserves the existence of extinct doodles. this is a bit of a stretch but horror was also lowk living in peace until everything crumbled around him and all his friends were being picked off and he got fucked over for no real reason. and id argue he was technically also "killed and preserved" because of the eye extraction and now also exists in a fragmented and fucked up version of his old home... torn apart by famine... also i just thought tasmarauders design suited him well. like big red predator hunter (even though they eat berries!!! which is like the cannibalism misconception abt horror!!!) dog with a skull and big bone weapon... and its beast/melee type

KILLER is cryotera. I wanted to find a cat doodle for him so bad but none of them fit him... so i gave him a bat instead. its only one letter off in the alphabet right!!! anyway cryotera are mischievous and like to terrorize local towns and invade caves to claim as their own territory before filling them with frigid ice. even though!!! the caves are often filled with young snobat (the pre evo)!!! who are huddled together so that they do not freeze!!! so it has to be safe to assume that cryotera dont have a whole lot of care or empathy for their actions which is why theyre such a menace all the time! that or they just enjoy being assholes which is ok because killer is lowk both of these. also its halloween skin has a skull and the misprint has red fire so that can be killer. ice/air type

CROSS is a staligant. they honestly dont really have lore except that the females are stronger and more aggressive and you cant find them anywhere except the vpshop ??? 😭 but the design is so cross... its an elegant monochrome fighter with sharp points and blank eyes... AND the fact that you cant find them anywhere except for this generalized empty space for every doodle with no wild encounter is kind of like how he doesnt really have a home au no more and just existed in a void!!!! crystal/mind type

ERROR is a stagine. because he was forsaken against everything and grew immensely resentful to what left him to rot as geno and now after sum glitchy glitchy he seeks to destroy it ALL in revenge. thats so stagine because stagine were originally built as surveillance machines for doodleco but they were abandoned and left to rust and rot alone (despite being SENTIENT DOODLES) and theyve grown spiteful towards doodleco. and!!! i think their design is very error especially misprint because its darker and nastier and blue screen of death and yummm...... funfact stagine has a skin that references omega flowey... plant/metal type
