Obviously the Mechanic's outfit's models aren't available (and there's no way I'm sculpting something from scratch) so he's got a discount Mechanic outfit
Corey backstory (which is a WIP because Raiders isn't out yet) under the cut
Corey is a Grizzco helicopter pilot and helicopter mechanic. He's crash-landed in the Spirhalite Islands after a massive storm, and he's stranded there with no possible way of getting home unless he can repair the helicopter. Which has been hard as the specific island he's crashed on hosts a Salmonid village, and they don't exactly like him.
After multiple clashes (that usually end in Corey retreating to his hiding spot because he sure as heck isn't going to risk his neck fighting a swarm of Salmonids by himself!), an older and battle-hardened Steelhead general leads a devastating assault on the beach Corey's been camping out on since he crashed and blows up the entire beach, damaging the helicopter and injuring Corey in the process. Corey barely escapes with his life but is not unscathed - one of his legs is injured to the point of a permanent limp and his right arm ends up severely injured, potentially to the point of it needing to be amputated. (Not 100% certain at the moment if I'm going to go through with the arm amputation yet)
A couple of days pass since the final conflict, and Corey - who has pretty much given up on escaping and has accepted his fate of dying on the island, either from the Salmonids or from his injuries - finds himself being nursed back to health by the same village that had previously attempted to drive him off the island. He's not sure if he's a guest, a prisoner, or a future meal, but Corey's getting help recovering from his injuries and he'll take whatever peace he can get. In exchange for letting him stay in the village, Corey works on the Salmonids' things, from a Scrapper's shield to a Slammin' Lid's saucer and even a Flyfish's jetpack.
The village itself is split on Corey's presence there. Some see him as a useful member, while others, such as the Steelhead general, see him as a danger, as there have been search and rescue parties flying overhead more often around the islands, which they fear could result in Grizzco shifts attacking the village. A few Salmonids are wondering when Corey's fixing his helicopter and leaving while some others think he shouldn't be allowed to leave in case he spills where the village is located to Grizzco.
Will Corey ever leave the Spirhalite Islands? Or will he be stuck there for the rest of his life - however long that will be surrounded by Salmonids who don't entirely like him?
