11 and 12 for Let Sleeping Beasts Lie :3
Hey! Thank you so much for this, this fic is one of my absolute favorites to write and despite the on-and-off updates, it means so much that people are still curious about it!
11: What do you like best about this fic?
This story was the first fic I actually planned out in advance. I had actually sat down and planned the entire thing out from start to finish - only to literally scrap the plans halfway through. The characters and storyline became so intense, from Dipper and Will’s relationship to the town secrets and the backstory of Dipper and his family, it’s actually just really exciting to write! I love seeing everyone’s reactions to the updates and I’ve heard people even have theories on Dipper and Will’s backgrounds which is so cool to me!
12: What do you like least about this fic?
It’s so long. Like - my god, it’s the longest thing I’ve ever written and it’s not even done. And sometimes I do get lost among all the mysteries and backgrounds that I tend to be unable to write updates for bits at a time, and I can’t always beta it. Also, I had to scrap the outline for it because things got so wild - but I take that as more of a positive.
Let Sleeping Beasts Lie is honestly such a special fic to me and it means so much to me when people are as passionate about what happens in the story as I am.
