But you can't argue that it's exactly what the characters would have done. Diggle, Barry and Iris all had a apart in helping Oliver and Felicity end up together so I find it fitting. Of course we'll all live getting some private time after this but to end the crossover like this was pretty nice.
Not to use your comment as an example but you’re about to get my ire, and I’m tired of people saying stuff like this.
I’m perfectly aware of the connection the couples have to each other. A joint wedding is even something I wouldn’t have minded (as much) if it were planned from the beginning.
But interrupting someone else’s marriage for your own marriage is an entirely different thing. They’re going home with this dude, maybe let Barry and Iris get married and then maybe after say “Hey can you do that for us too? Later on? At literally any time? Since you’ll be around? We would have done it now with them but we didn’t want to steal their fucking moment”
Like... oh my God these two are legit the worst wedding guests in the history of time! Iris and Barry certainly have had an impact on them, but (in MY OPINION) Oliver and Felicity have had little impact on Barry and Iris. So why would they want to share their marriage with them? I mean they honestly looked like they were screaming on the inside and were just too polite to tell them to fuck off, but I’ll admit that’s probably just me.
Let’s also acknowledge the fact that these two somehow managed to make literally the entirety of their wedding weekend about themselves. If they weren’t fighting nazi’s, they were prioritizing their drama over what should have been the celebration of Barry and Iris’ relationship. It’s just something, as decent human beings, you don’t do.
