This happened to him post Star Allies.
Also, he's a little bit inspired by a character made by Jakeneutron
Basically, the dream friends with Kirby were Bandana Dee, Marx, and Magolor.
(Cause in the game, you can choose who you want to fight with)
It was pretty much the final fight with Void. All four of them were on their last legs, and Magolor felt like he needed to do something drastic. He had to sacrifice himself with the biggest attack he had. He tried as hard as he could, but it wasn't enough. And it drained most of the power he used out of it. The others didn't have the strength to save him, as they were all knocked to the ground. Magolor struggled to make a shield, as he was beaten and weary. Void then took his most strongest strike, broke his shield, and destroyed Magolor swiftly. But thankfully, the remains of his shield had fallen on his body, and combined with the power of Void and the Jamba Heart, turned to this goopie mess.
