Maleficient had her reasons not to visit the Seelie Court. Her sworn enemies, repressed memories, everything bad happened there. But if you would ask who was the worst of the Seelie Court, one cerulean colored fae came to mind. 

Merryweather, despite her namesake, was the least pleasant of the fae. Always try to pick fights and foiling her plans. That smug smile as she was defeated, Merryweather was the worst. Though deniably the fae pulled her heartstrings. 

The queen picked up one of Merryweather's flowers, not aware she was even there. Maleficent closed her eyes. 

“How the mighty have fallen and weak have risen.”

“No no, you’re sick. You rest, I’ll take care of everything.” { doc and merry }

murdoc had never experienced such strange symptoms before; watery eyes, his head ached like a thousand bricks had landed on him and his nose felt like it would implode at any minute. merry was adamant that he had a cold, and it was quite the nasty one at that. the kind from overworking yourself, like you often do, merry scolded as she wrapped a blanket around the lunar fae, tucking him in nicely. ❛ i’m not sick, i’ve never been sick before. ❜ murdoc retorted back lazily, his voice weak and hoarse. but with a gentle shove from the femme, murdoc fell back into his seat on merry’s couch with a huff. there was no arguing with her, so murdoc surrendered himself. 

❛ fine, it’s just- hayfever. maybe. ❜

❛ you say it like it’s easy. ❜ a quiet chuckle left the prince’s lips as he sat across from merry, taking a sip of the tea she brewed for the both of them. the future for him was bright; two prosperous kingdoms uniting as one, a beautiful queen soon to be his wife, and a throne that was waiting just for him. but with every passing day, philip couldn’t help but resent the future that awaited for him. all of his choices were made for him, perfectly set in place for the king-to-be would be comfortable and ready to rule for a long time - but what if he didn’t want to?

he took another sip from the delicate teacup, placing it down as a subtle sigh left his lungs. the prince wished it’d only be that easy, with a snap of his fingers or a quick swish of a wand, yet it never was and magic always had a price attached to it. just take something and then make it brand new.

Hans stared at Merry as he talked. He heard have of what she said-half of it. He looked down at her chest. Hans couldn’t hear half of it. The werewolf finally looked up when he heard the other. 

‘ well , it’s no secret that the best thing about a secret is secretly telling someone your secret , thereby , secretly adding another secret to their secret collection of secrets , secretly. ‘ 

Hans pretended that Merry said something philosophical. He sighed and asked the most important question that was on his mind. 

“So.....no head.” The werewolf asked with a head tilt.

OKAY BUT LISTEN- This might sound very obscene and wrong at first but stay with me here. Imagine Zeus did think about incest in his younger years, but banned it after he realized really how wrong and disgusting even just the thought of it was, even just a second of consideration was enough and so it never came to any of such connections in Olympus and mortals were divinely punished if they ever engaged in such practices.
