So I take it, to get into DMC, I should just start with the first game? Also what's the difference between DMC and DmC?

yeah just pick up the DMC HD Collection and DMC4 Special Edition. PC versions are a little fucky or so i’ve heard so maybe just get the console versions. i’ve personally been playing the PS3 version of DMC HD. start up DMC1 and just go from there. 2 is optional because it’s mediocre (and is conveniently set the furthest down the line from the other games).

DmC: Devil May Cry is a reboot by Ninja Theory, and it’s terrible on many levels. DMC and DmC might as well be unrelated outside of a few character’s names. it can be ignored.

TOUGH. That’s a tough one because I love so much of their interactions and relationship. If I was to pick a moment that synthesizes their thing, it would be the whole “You don’t have to be my superman” “But I want to be” talk. Their connection started with Caleb sticking up for Adam...and most of their relationship has revolved around that push and pull theme of protecting/standing up for each other. - Briggon
