On the strong recommendation of @kenjilopezalt I convinced my dad to #splatchcock the turkey this year. You avoid dry breast meat and the bird cooks more evenly decreasing cook time by half. It may not look traditional but it makes for a better bird. So this year our bird is BUSSIN’ that thang open. Told y’all thots have more fun 🤪.
