does tumblr know about splatcon yet? it was a nickeloden themed convention that was supposed to happen this weekend in LA. They had Kel Mitchell promoting it on tiktok, they had the entire cast of Hey Dude, they had the voices of Dib and Gaz Invader Zim, the trio of Ned's Declassified, various guests from All That and other older Nick shows both live action and cartoon. They cancelled it the day before the convention was supposed to stat.
They started to issue refunds (everyone ive seen so far ask for one has said their requests have been ignored) and are citing "circumstances not panning out the way they were supposed to". Almost everyone I've seen who was involved as a gust or volunteer only found out via THAT post
(via twitter) From what I have seen, many of the actors and VAs were in fact knowledgeable of the event and were actually "booked", so it seems more like a dashcon-flop event.
