[[Closed starter for splatjunkii.]] Walking down the street, he glanced down at the phone in his hand. “Hey, Ika, I’m going to go out to the café for some lunch in a bit in case you want to join me later.” He frowned a little at the message. It was delivered, sure, but still no sign of it having been read. He knit his brows for a moment before sighing and stuffing the phone back in his pocket. He’d woken up later than usual, sure, but it was still strange that he hadn’t seen or heard from her all day. As he entered the plaza, the local crowd quickly drowned out his thoughts. Noticing he was still a bit early for the store’s lunch hours, he found himself end up doing what most of the others around were doing and loitered around the plaza, aimlessly walking around.
