Wow…. I cant wait to completely ignore the ‘new agent 3’ thing and just tag them as agent 5 or something……

I was genuinely going to try and get myself to wait for more splatoon 3 news to start making a proper design and character for the splat 3 protag, but… I had such cool ideas today and I had to draw them and post them before I forgot them

Sooooo here’s Possom and her brother Nightwood lmao. They’re both firefly squids (nightwood more than his sibling) who grew up in the Splatlands with Night taking care of Possom a majority of their lives. I don’t care what canonical way the protag might end up finding little buddy, Possom found her in a garbage bin and they then obtained a new best friend.

Some little facts about them below the cut!

- Possom forgets the fact they live in the freaking desert and constantly goes adventuring in a hoodie so Nightwood makes sure she stays safe.

- Nightwood is a competitive turf player which is how he pays for their groceries and rent

(cw for this one for mentioned family death) - sad backstory stuff blah blah their parents died when they were young, Pos doesn’t remember them but Night does and raised them after that. Pos asks for stories or little facts or details about them both a lot.

- they argue a lot and Night’s really overprotective but they love each other so much and would do anything for each other

- Possom wants to go to inkopolis one day to see the big city lights

- the shirt Night wears he found in a yard sale. All the nice clothes he buys go to Possom.

- night didn’t like little buddy at first but they very quickly both became besties

- salmonid are not pets I know they have their own functioning societies I promise they don’t treat little buddy like a pet they just treat him like a very small but smart baby roommate

- pos’s earrings are fake they’re clip one that Night got for her

- they both have a popcorn addiction
