Laughing at the fact that an important part of Possom’s story is that they have no friends when the canon Neo Agent 3 has an entire friend squad with the promo kids

#all my agents are friendless losers (for the most part) but it’s important for Possom so it’s extra funny #shit social and teamwork skills vs number 1 socialized #snails ramblings #imagine growing up as the kid who lost their family so it’s harder for you to connect with people so you just don’t and no one else is-#-making the effort either so your only friends for all your life are your brother and eventually your adopted sibling #and then you find out an alternate universe version of you has 7 friends they hang out with 24/7 #I’d be mad asf

Before I go to bed; been playing around with the idea of different disability related stuff for my older agents.

Like, Maya already has chronic pain with her arm but I’m leaning towards the idea of it getting worse the older she gets. Ashley already has pain from her scars and not as good vision in her right eye but despite their ear getting fucked up too I never messed with their hearing and realistically that’d be in the mix. And then for Lucky this all started with an idea of giving her a cane for her back pain from the metro bomb explosions, which I might just give to her now instead of any future timeline stuff

#shoutout to my ex for teaching me how to properly draw a cane so I can now do so for my fucking splatoon OC lol #Possom I’m not really thinking of anything besides just headaches like Ashley bc the most they have is the werewolf stuff #headaches like Ashley bc of the alterna test failed ink that hit their head enough to stain #French Fry I’ve been considering adding injuries from the Grizzco fight #snails ramblings

Got nearly 4K words written for the next Possom fic chapter and at the rate the plot’s looking it’ll probably be around like 6k at least 😭

#I could hypothetically split it into 2 chapters #but it’d make for a really boring chapter if all that happens is the Callie Marie and Captain Three intro but slightly edited dialogue #I at least wanna get one level in #mostly cus I’m excited to write ORCA #snails ramblings

If I had a nickel for everytime someone commented on my ao3 fics to write something where Agent 4/Maya temporarily dies and Marie crashes out over it I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice right /ref

Splatoon has changed my life. It’s led me to meet so many people, improve my art and writing, comforted me in my darkest times and inspired me to keep creating.
