so what if nessa made the wish instead of the prince? what would’ve happened?

I've been looking at this since I got it and honestly, i got nothing. My first thought is just, MJ woulda been her bro/sis and both would have Nessa attributes but. I don't think she'd wish for the same thing, and if she did, it wouldn't be Nessa and MJ, but some other entities entirely, like how prince and snatch are v different.

So! No, these weren't requested, but we haven't been talking bout the split fellas as often! It's a couple headcanons (half @le-switch will recognize) cuz they deserve just as much love! Headcanon time :V

⭐ Both MJ and Snatch can fly, but MJ don't do it as often. Prefers the ground to the air

⭐ as some of the most magical creatures in Subcon, the forest respects the boys. From not letting the swamp drown them, to less issues with the Fire Spirits, the magic is all connected

⭐ The boys, Snatch especially, would be INCREDIBLY shocked when Nessa starts getting her color back. Like??, Hewwo?? You could gain your color at any time?? No?? I'm confused-

⭐ Not only has Nessa's visual brightness suffered, but her voice. She has a hard time reaching certain volumes, since she had t' be so quiet round the house. It comes back a lil faster than her visuals (as soon as she can, she probably screams at the top of her lungs, just cuz she can)

⭐ It takes about 3 hours for any color Nessa wears to fade, and 9 hours for it to return to the item, if it does. It's kind of like she stains the items, and that lack of color can spread to other items if it was, say, put through the wash.

⭐ Snatch is very much like a cat. As in he climbs up trees and gets stuck and forgets that he can fly

⭐ Nessa loves snow, but not the cold, so she super bundles up for it. She also super loves hot cocoa. With 12 marshmallows. She's picky on that fact.

Some headcanons: Alt!Snatcher can hide in shadows, which would be much more effective if he remembered his eyes and mouth glow when they're open, and also that shadows can't talk - if shapeshifter mimics something/one for a long time they start to pick up some of their quirks for a little bit - Alt!Moonjumper doesn't cast a shadow, or rather he does but the shadow has a mind of his own and doesn't tend to be where you would expect MJ's shadow to be (1/2)

I love love LOVE that Shapeshifter idea! It gets harder to tell the longer they're in disguise because at first it's just a little difficult to tell the difference, but if they're disguised for, like, a day, it gets REAL difficult, and traits actually show up. Like, they'll be disguised as Con for a while, and for a while after they have this love for trains that lasts for a time

@le-switch and I were talking about this a couple days ago and aye! All that hiding was great for Sneaking Through Mother's House. It was a pretty dicy situation uwu

I'd rather we elaborated on this timeline than the dark path we took today. Idk what the idea timeline for split originally was but
