#split wigs

So I saw today on cgl that someone asked if split wigs were "out of style" in lolita. Someone answered yes. I'm like whatever cause imma keep on wearing them because I like them in certain coords. Please tell me why lolitas care what is "in"? I like this fashion because it's unique!

So i went to the smithsonian muesam of natural history and I wore a mint and brown split wig and OMG the compliments i got were just tooooo cute! i had a group of girls going to "hair school" take my picture a bazillion times and other people with colored hair salute me but the most precious were all the little girls  who said "your hair is pretty i like it" They were soo cute and i told all of them that they had beautiful hair too but they were sooo precious and darling it was a memory to hold.

Would a split lolita wig (if its in more natual colors) work okay in a classic coord? The one I want is dark brown and light brown. I just wondered if that was something better suited for sweet coords.

I think in natural colors it looks fine. I've seen it done before and as long as you don't wear the twin tails (they're a bit too Sweet) it looks very cute.
