Cater sends a photo of Leona's sleeping face and a kitten snoring side-by-side, alongside the message, "what's the difference between these two images? đ€"
Then a follow-up message, "It means you're super cute like a kitty, Leona. I keep hearing Lilia saying the same. Ù©(ËáË*)" "
@splitcards
The only indication Leona had even noticed the message was the 'read' label proving he'd at one point opened it. Other than that, the housewarden hadn't replied back, though this wasn't rare for him given his very busy schedule. Perhaps Cater wouldn't get a reaction for his antics.
And yet, the beastman happens to bump into the redhead during lunch the next day. An obvious coincidence, of course. Never mind the way Leona's eyes lock on the other the moment he spots him, flashing him a sardonic smirk once he's caught up to him.
"Hey, about yesterday," he begins, not bothering to specify more than that. "Thought I told you I didn't like pictures; not really my thing~" Leona assumed Cater had understood where he was coming from after his last birthday. Surely, the guy wouldn't be so rude as to sneak candid pictures of a sleeping lion.
"So go ahead and delete them." It comes off as an order, even if the housewarden makes no move to push Cater into doing it then and there. If anything, he looks disappointed, wondering if the picture was Lilia's idea somehow. The bat brat was always finding creative ways to get under his skin.
"Tch, are you trying to find things to post or something? If you're gonna sneak around and snap pictures, at least go for the guys that can actually get you an audience, like Vil or the damn lizard. No one's gonna look at some second prince~"
He was being oh so kind and offering Cater this advice. Of course if the other still refused to leave the lion out of future photoshoots, Leona wasn't above trying some... gentle persuasion~
@splitcards asked: "They're a 10 but they have poor dating tastes in men." (not like cater is also any better but shh)

"Damn I didn't know we were outing Dana like thatâ"
@splitcardsâ sent:Â " i still can't believe how tall you are ... " Â the question is more of a pouting disappointment, sadly eating the quiche as cater watches trey work his magic in the kitchen. Â " can't you spare some inches for little ol' me over here? i'd love to rack up some cool points too, y'know. "
After cutting the dough into little stripes, Trey starts to braid them with the speed and skill of someone having done it countless times. This is probably his favorite part about making plaited buns but he remembers a time when it was his greatest source of frustration. Caterâs lament makes him chuckle - first because itâs cute and then because Cater accidentally said something naughty without realizing. The itch to make him aware of it is there, but Trey resists the urge to scratch it.
He takes the compliment even though Cater is not offering the most splendid delivery - but heâs always been somewhat proud of his height and to hear that Cater is jealous about it is oddly flattering.    âI think you get plenty of cool points as it is,â Trey offers. âAnd youâre not exactly small yourself.â Just stand next to Riddle, he almost adds. (But thatâs a little mean.)
He puts the last bun on the baking tray and moves to wash his hands. Time for decoration. A hidden smirk tugs at the corner of Treyâs mouth as he walks over to Cater, whoâs leaning against the kitchen counter with his plate of quiche, and stops just close enough their bodies donât touch yet. Raising his arm he reaches for something on the top shelf behind Cater, the movement bringing him even closer to the other boy. For a few seconds their faces are very much within kissing-distance before Trey lowers back down. âBeing tall does have some perks, though,â he says in a quieter voice.
Then he steps away, a bag of sugar crystals that he picked from the shelf in his hand. âLeave some room for dessert, will you?â he says as he pours a few crystals into his hand and sprinkles them over the buns. âIf you like I can make it sweet-chili flavored for you.â
@splitcards
âHey Cater!â Kalim knocked on the door of the room Cater was in. âYou donât need help changing into the outfit do you? I know from experience it can get a little confusing!âÂ

KISSING MEME PROMPTS: -> { NOT ACCEPTING } 5. forehead kiss. â Cater / @splitcards
Cater enjoyed putting hats on people. It was no surprise, as such is the nature of the Hatter. He'd discovered a method of effective communication with Cater by allowing him to make hats for himself. Cater would spend hours measuring his head and his body, hours more working enthusiastically at his sewing machine. It would be days before any fitting appointments were available, but Cater would always have more than a dozen hats ready for him to try on.
Jade falls heavy onto the chair, having lost count of the number of hats he'd tried on today. He likes them all. Style has never been much of an issue. He'll be content with the simplest rudiments of what could be called a magician's hat, but Cater disagrees.
"Hold it there, would you, I'm about to try something here," Cater said as he lifts the black top hat with a purple ribbon around it and slaps on a straw hat with a black ribbon and a sunflower. "Whoa ~ âȘ" He whistles.
Jade lifts a hand to touch the top of his head. Cater looks starstruck, in awe, which confused him what about the hat had made him look different from the others. He turns, and looks into the mirror lodged into a tall hedge of red roses, finding himself looking silly but strangely familiar. It takes a moment for the puzzle to click, Jade fishes his pendant out from inside his suit and flicks the cover open. He looks into the mirror again and presses a hand over his right eye.
Between Floyd and himself, they both agreed that Jade looked more like their mother. Not in the way she was blond and had large eyes, but in the shape of her face, her round and curved brows, her dark hues, and her sharp chin.
"A-Alice! I thought I'd never see you again." Curtly, he's grabbed by his face, both hands on either side of his cheeks. Before Jade could say anything, Cater leans in to give him a kiss on the head. His heart races, a single word pounds in his eardrums.
Alice.
"I'm not Alice," Jade murmurs as Cater draws himself away, muttering repeatedly. What have I done. It didn't go unnoticed to Jade that Cater picked the pendant off of his neck as well, holding it in his hand as if he's looking at the last photo of Alice on earth. Jade sighs, getting up to his feet. He takes a step towards Cater and gently places a hand over the Hatter's, snapping the pendant shut. "You didn't do anything wrong," He hums, cupping his cheeks to hold his face upwards as he returns the kiss.

No forgiveness? Heâs just going to help himself moving into Heartslabyul and work remote for Azul. Heâd set up his base camp in the dormâs dumpster outside of Marianneâs room, he doesnât care. The moment she opens her window his voice would be the first thing she hears. The moment she draws her curtain apart his face is going to be the first thing she sees.Â
