T R A G E D I E S.             something  she  would  usually  account  to  things  like  DEATH  ,  POVERTY  ,  LOSING  YOUR  CHILD  TO  THE  SYSTEM  YOU  SWORE  TO  BREAK  FREE  FROM.                &&  yet  ,  in  their  own  ways  ,  emma  does  suppose  those  are  all  CHANGES.              changes  that  left  ones  life  emptier  than  it  had  found  it    ;     it  was  never  fair  -----   rarely  agreed  upon.        life  was  just  like  that  ,  though  ----  things  change  ,  &  you  adapt.           ALWAYS  ADAPTING.            sometimes  that  was  more  tiring  than  just  losing  something  all  together  ;  at  least  that  was  a  guaranteed  way  of  life  ----  no  real  chance  that  anything  else  would  change  after  that.

“I’m sorry someone left you so scared.” Steve begins gently. He knows a thing or two about scars, mental mostly. He has no idea if her scars are mental or physically or perhaps both but he feels for her. 

Clearly something has jaded her and who can blame her, really? Sometimes Steve finds himself jaded by the world too. “Do you want to talk about it?”

                  WITH THE brunette in her arms, Maya can’t help the slight roll of her eyes. She hadn’t known the Mayor for long, but yet, she seemed like the type of person who didn’t want to take help from anyone. Yet, here Maya was, carrying the Mayor out of Town Hall after a fire where the brunette seemed to injure herself. She was a fire captain, she was the fire captain of Storybrooke, she’d help anyone. Whether they wanted her help OR NOT.

                 AT HER comment, Maya spoke with the brunette in her arms “Yes, because you can get yourself out of a fire unscathed.” the blonde remarked as she placed the other down onto the gurney, watching as a few other firefighter’s moved in to put out THE FIRE.

It isn’t like Katherine to save anyone when she’s always looking out for herself but there’s something about this woman. Magic recognizes magic and whoever she is, she’s powerful, perhaps powerful enough to rival her own petrova magic.

Why she doesn’t use her abilities is beyond Katherine but the half-vampire, half-witch jumps into action. The man who would do Regina harm is taken care of in a matter of seconds. Teeth sank deep in the human’s neck and she drinks greedily, draining him in a matter of moments.

Allowing the limp body to drop from her hold, Katherine’s tongue darts over her bottom lip to lick up the blood there. She’s made a mess of herself, blood on her chin and lips, but she has little care for that. Instead, she’s focused on the woman.

“You’re welcome.” She begins before her head cocks to the left in curiosity, a perfectly sculpted eyebrow arching. “Tell me.....why not protect yourself with your magic? And please, don’t deny it, I can feel it radiating from you.”
