i would love to not be affected at all when the spn men just get up and say things that if my brother or coworker said them i would have to have a conversation to explain why that was hurtful and do some basic education about gay people. however unlike my coworker they are paid large amounts of money to say it in public in association with a television show that has a very visible audience of specifically very young queer people. like surely someone at some point has considered that maybe they should at least try to get these guys to fake it
