Summary: Dean was curious. He’d never seen anything like her before. She was old and weathered, her dark brown skin wrinkled with age. And yet, how elegant she was... Her white hair was tied back into a knot, Jasmine flowers adorning it. She wore a dark sari - brown, or black or some other dark color he couldn’t quite parse. She sat in the shade of a tent, a lone figure - different from everyone else at the market. Dean was intrigued by the muddy green paste that gratified her hands, the red stains that marked them.

Summary: Dean & Castiel travel to The Big Island of Hawaii to work a case that the local hunters can’t quite work out. Some detective work leads them to discover that their “big bad” is bigger than usual and might be slightly harder to kill than their usual hunts. Working the case leads Dean to finally understand that his friendship with Castiel has been slightly more than that over these years. He decides to resolve the tension and his feelings, once they’ve finished their hunt and killed their enemy. Can they close the case and finally admit to each other that they’re in love?
