Once again on a SPN Wiki spiral and just thinking about how more interesting the original concept of the 300th episode would’ve been: an episode told entirely through the point-of-view of the towns’ residents. I love high-concept episodes like 11x04 and love seeing the Winchesters from an outsiders’ POV (i.e. Aaron watching them warm their hands over a burning body and saying “these guys are psychopaths”) so I feel like this would’ve episode could’ve been hilarious if done right. Though I kinda wished they hadn’t tried to ‘retain elements’ of it and instead just fully committed to the new plot of alternate universe / Winchester family reunion. We spend so much time with the Lebanon teens that should’ve been spent with them and John.
Also the origin story for thee Racist Truck is so funny to me. The end result gave us Cassie but...at what cost:
