hey! love love love your account:) anywho, how do you make gifs your header image? 😛💕
Well, it kinds depends on the theme you have. Also, some themes don’t use a header, like the one I picked for spn-gifs. Just looking at yours, I’m thinking maybe it doesn’t include a image in the header. I see one on your preview pane, though, which tells me that you probably used the Edit Appearance function.
You can try visiting your page while signed in to tumblr and you’ll see an Edit Theme button on the top right of the screen. Click it, and you’ll be able to access option specific to your theme, and even the html. If you end up needing to get into the html to edit or add a header image, I won’t really be able to help you in a quick answer because it could really affect the appearance of your blog depending on the rest of the code. Google is a great resource, though, and learning that stuff is super-helpful. I would encourage you to just go for it, but make sure to have a copy of the original code so you can go back if something really gets screwed up.
Lastly, if you make gifs - unlike me who only collects and shares them - you can ensure your chosen gif is the dimensions you want and super-sharp instead of pixelated. If not, you’re at the mercy of what you find (so the bigger, the better). I would also encourage you to credit whoever made the gif you’re using as a header somewhere on the site if it wasn’t you. As you know from spn-gifs, crediting artists is very important to me.
For folks who want to learn how to add a gif to a theme that uses one/to their preview pane, keep reading:
To get started, just click the user icon in the upper right of your dash to get to the correct blog (I feel like I have a lot - 6 - you may have a few, or just one). Then hover your cursor over the blog title at the top of the right column. A little preview of your blog will appear with a button that says Edit Appearance. Click on that button. A new window will open up and you’ll see the Edit Appearance button again; click it again. Then you’ll see the semi-transparent edit icon (what is that? a pencil?) appear over each part of your blog: header, icon, title, and description. Click the one over your header and select choose a photo. Then pick your gif you have saved. You’ll be able to resize and move the image once it’s dropped into the header. Then just save it!

Do we have a gif for looking at gifs? Not the Misha "we have a gif for that" one.
Well, I don’t think so. If you look, you can find gifs of characters using computers, but that’s about all. Sam and Dean aren’t really the type to discuss gifs within the show’s universe and I don’t recall anyone else doing so either. I’ll have to think about it - maybe there are some scenes talking about looking at things or things moving that could be used that way.

Wow, turns out I don’t. In his first episode he was a ghoul most of the time and in others he was overshadowed by other gif-worthy stuff, I guess. Since I only collect gifs and don’t actually make them, I’m gonna put it out to the other followers: you guys got any good Adam Milligan gifs?
hey!! i have been trying to find gifs with texts from season 5 episode 14 my bloody valentine... the ones with cupid in them... specifically one where the cupid is talking to castiel and he says "but i love love" haha i was hoping you had some or know s/o who has made some? thanks! :)
These two uncredited images were the best I could find. Anyone else?
