Hello! In LARP and the real girl (8.11), when Sam and Dean are interrogating Lance, Dean says "Did you really think that sentence was gonna clear things up?" and I have yet to find a gif of it. Such a perfect response on some occasions. Any chance you could make that happen? Lovely blog by the way :3

You are in luck. I found a gif of that very line. BUT I’m iffy on the credit. It was on wheresupernaturalgifsgo​, reblogged from superwholockianinhoneydukes​ though the original post no longer exists. I couldn’t ask the OP if they made it because I don’t think they have their ask box open. Part of me feels like the OP is the same person as the reblogger but not the original gif maker. Anyway, here it is, but keep all this in mind.

is there a gif for the 'lucifer rising' episode in season 4 where the dude is in the nun place (idk what it's called) and yells at one girl "shut your friggin mouth you little whore". idk if this is specific enough but hopefully you know what im talking about

I know what scene you’re talking about: it was in the teaser before the title card when a possessed priest taunts nuns in the convent before killing them. But you’re gonna be on your own to find a gif of that exchange.

I don’t choose to keep or share gifs of this type because I have a problem with the pattern of misogyny sometimes apparent in the show. None of the gifs in the repository will ever have slurs like that. I did post one of Castiel calling the angel Raphael his “little bitch” a LONG-ass time ago, but it’s been deleted since then, when I realized I didn’t want that on my blog.

PLEASE HELP IM GOING CRAZY I can't find this gif and it's making me mad: One of the later seasons, Sam says something accusatory to Dean and Dean goes "I would never!" And then after Sam walks away he smirks and shrugs like "heh but maybe I would" Hopefully that makes sense >.<

hey! love love love your account:) anywho, how do you make gifs your header image? 😛💕

Well, it kinds depends on the theme you have. Also, some themes don’t use a header, like the one I picked for spn-gifs. Just looking at yours, I’m thinking maybe it doesn’t include a image in the header. I see one on your preview pane, though, which tells me that you probably used the Edit Appearance function.

You can try visiting your page while signed in to tumblr and you’ll see an Edit Theme button on the top right of the screen. Click it, and you’ll be able to access option specific to your theme, and even the html. If you end up needing to get into the html to edit or add a header image, I won’t really be able to help you in a quick answer because it could really affect the appearance of your blog depending on the rest of the code. Google is a great resource, though, and learning that stuff is super-helpful. I would encourage you to just go for it, but make sure to have a copy of the original code so you can go back if something really gets screwed up.

Lastly, if you make gifs - unlike me who only collects and shares them - you can ensure your chosen gif is the dimensions you want and super-sharp instead of pixelated. If not, you’re at the mercy of what you find (so the bigger, the better). I would also encourage you to credit whoever made the gif you’re using as a header somewhere on the site if it wasn’t you. As you know from spn-gifs, crediting artists is very important to me.

For folks who want to learn how to add a gif to a theme that uses one/to their preview pane, keep reading:

To get started, just click the user icon in the upper right of your dash to get to the correct blog (I feel like I have a lot - 6 - you may have a few, or just one). Then hover your cursor over the blog title at the top of the right column. A little preview of your blog will appear with a button that says Edit Appearance. Click on that button. A new window will open up and you’ll see the Edit Appearance button again; click it again. Then you’ll see the semi-transparent edit icon (what is that? a pencil?) appear over each part of your blog: header, icon, title, and description. Click the one over your header and select choose a photo. Then pick your gif you have saved. You’ll be able to resize and move the image once it’s dropped into the header. Then just save it!
