Sam sighs and rescinds his arm. Dean finds himself chasing after it, hand stretching out pathetically. But he’s too late: his fingers catch on the empty air. A whimper pushes its way out of his throat. “You need it,” Sam says, pulling his arm close to himself. He draws a knife and slices across the skin. “And I need you.”
Dean is turned into a vampire. With only two options, Sam makes the choice for him.
