Happy pride! SPN Pride Week is back better than ever, and longer than ever—for a full month this year! Writers, artists, and content creators of any kind are welcome to participate in this event, which will run from June 1st to June 30th, 2024. This year's prompts are as follows:

Week 2, June 9-15th: Celebrations/Sexuality (color: yellow)
Week 3, June 16-22nd: Gender/Non-conformity (color: blue)
Week 4, June 23-29th: Found family/Pride (color: violet)
June 30th: Catch-up posting day! Make more posts, fulfill a prompt from a previous week, or combine prompts from different weeks for this day!

each week has three prompts (two general and one color)- you can incorporate all into one piece, create separate pieces, or choose one prompt to focus on!
you can participate in any/all of the weeks or pick and choose; this event is not a "challenge" and anyone can decide to join the event at any time. we just ask that you please mention in your posts what prompt/week you are making content for (and make sure to use our tag!)
creations can include fics, art, amvs, etc- however you want to celebrate and get creative
no incest of any kind will be accepted. we will also not be reblogging any rpf or nsfw, as minors do follow and participate in this event.

Sam opened the door to the kitchen casually, hand in his pocket. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Dean, dressed in a red flannel with a beer already in hand. He was looking at Sam with a face that said it was something serious.
“Hey,” Sam said, eyebrows furrowing with concern. He tapped his fingers nervously on the door.
“Hey, Sam. Grab a beer and sit down, why don’t you?” Dean leaned back in his chair, running a hand over his face with a sigh.
Sam kept his eyes on Dean as he went to the fridge, grabbing a bottle and opening it before sliding in across from his brother. “What’s wrong?”
Dean pursed his lips together, chewing on them a little before taking a drink of his beer. “Nothing’s wrong, Sam, I just…I have something to tell you. And I need you to bear with me.”
“Of course, Dean, you can tell me anything,” Sam said, leaning forward with concern painting his expression. Dean took a deep breath. Were those tears in his eyes? Yes, Dean’s eyes were watery and slick, catching the light more than they usually did.
“I’m gay, Sam.”
There were many, many moments of silence. Not even the ticking of a clock in the bunker, or air conditioning, nothing.
“Dean-“
“Well, more accurately I’m bisexual,” Dean said quickly, making a vague hand motion before running his hand under his nose as he sniffled a little bit. Sam’s shoulder’s sagged.
“Okay,” Sam replied, an awkward smile playing at his lips. Silence reined again.
“That’s it? Okay?” Dean wasn’t mad. It wasn’t quite laughing either. It was like a kid waiting to be hit, and then learned he’d been rewarded instead.
“Yeah, that’s it. Okay. Dean, with the siren and Dr. Sexy, you don’t think I was a little curious?” Sam chuckled, lightening the mood a little. Dean laughed too, but it was a short burst and sounded like there were tears he was holding back.
There weren’t any more words needed between the two of them. The two of them left their beers on the table, and hugged each other so tight they each felt like their ribs would crack. Sitting back down and drinking and laughing together, it felt like a weight had been lifted.
