when i went to europe for the first time i got a "rocket lettuce salad" at a restaurant and i was too shy to ask wtf "rocket lettuce" was and soon i was served a bowl of NOTHING BUT ARUGULA. 0% any other leafy green. completely unacceptable. like ok first it tastes really bitter and then it tastes a little sweet and then it just tastes like soap. it's a taste roller coaster and it is not a ride i ever ask to be on. but i choked it all down like a good little anxious tourist :/

O M G my worst nightmare. really. arugula is the devil ‘lettuce’. (i don’t think it should even qualify as lettuce)

i’m so sorry you had to eat that and not look like a rude tourist ;n; but kudos to you for surviving that!

i’m the same way with the neck thing and my roommate did the same shit when i told her and just :/ i feel ya buddy. probably bad advice but one day i just really angrily told her off and she immediately stopped and never did it again

it's just so not okay because there's one person i've told repeatedly not to touch me and they just don't listen and it sucks cause it doesn't matter if i ask nicely or if i yell they just refuse to stop and sometimes i'll say a noise bothers me or a certain thing bothers me, a lot my friends just do it even more and like, they should know that's not okay?? i don't know

as a person with pink hair i can assure u that that shade of pink is impossible to attain but also any shade of pink hair is hella rad a+ 9.5/10 would recommend

idk my hair is really fair and we temporarily dyed it pink today and it's not that color but it's close-ish?? idk i don't need that exact color just pastel pink

a very similar thing happened to me! i lost my grant and loan because i had a nervous breakdown so i took a medical leave but ended up dropping out and now i’m at a cc getting my shit together. cc is so much calmer. no shame in junior colleges!

yeah pretty much my situation, except my parents don't want me coming back home which just makes my life 10x more difficult, but yes i hope that if this doesn't get better to go to community college back home
