Shiner Blonde - an American Pale Lager from Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, TX
Party Source Newport
Review:
Appearance: Light golden color, blonde if you will, with a one finger white head. good lacing and retention.
Smell: The only real thing detracting from this brew. Much like a (good) pilsener, this beer is just a touch skunky. Other than that, it's a decent smell, slightly bready.
Taste: Very light taste, much as the smell is light. A touch of grain, but not a whole lot else.
Mouthfeel: Thin, watery, but not terrible. Slight carbonation, somewhat crisp.
Overall: A good brew from the Spoetzl crew in Shiner. The only thing really detracting is the smell.

Another good APA, a good offering from Spoetzl. Nothing overwhelmingly special, but a good solid brew.
