Chev honestly wasn’t sure how he ended up here. 

One moment, he was in the motel room, researching and waiting for Dean to return from the food run he’d disappeared on, and the next, he was being grabbed by someone and then–

Slavery. Was this really still a thing? He kept that thought bitterly on repeat in the back of his head as he was shoved forward onto the little platform that apparently was trying to be a stage. A stage where he’d watched other men and women already be auctioned and sold…

Just as he was. There was bidding, a man was called, and he was shoved off the platform and given to this- this child. That was honestly what this “man” was. He was just a boy; younger than Chev himself. And hopefully easy to get away from…
