Since it’s still gonna be a bit of a wait until DFTH chapter 5 starts, I figured I’d do something to tide you all over a bit.
And what’s better to tide people over than a little bit of speculation~?
So let’s play two lies and a truth!
I’ll take each of the currently surviving cast, and list three statements about their future in the story; two of them are lies, but one of them is actually true.
But which one is which?
Well that’s for me to know and you to find out~

Rantaro Amami
He's going to get away with killing someone before the killing game ends.
He’s executed, but somehow survives his execution to become the Ultimate Survivor.
He’s going to lose his protagonist status again.
Jasper Shion
His talent never does get revealed.
He doesn’t get executed. And no-one is happy about that.
What he said at the end of chapter 4 was a double lie, and there is actually a traitor.
Tsumugi Shirogane
She isn’t actually the mastermind.
She plots to kill Jasper, but it doesn’t go as she intended.
Her actions in this killing game lead directly to the ending of V3.
Kokoro Hikari
She’s been lying about something from the very start of the killing game.
She found out who the mastermind is, but chose not to tell anyone.
She joins the mastermind’s side out of spite.
Sachiko Akahana
Her backstory never gets revealed.
She plans to kill someone, but it doesn’t go how she wants.
Her katana is the chapter 5 murder weapon.
Monokuma
He gets framed for murder...Somehow.
He is the chapter 5 victim, and gets killed permanently.
He’s forced to stop acting of his own autonomy.
Slade
He ends the killing game himself after getting tired of Tsumugi’s bullshit.
He survived a killing game himself before joining Team Danganronpa.
He breaks the rule he keeps preaching to Tsumugi at some point, and does involve himself in the killing game.
Bonus! Chapter 5 as a whole
There isn’t a murder, and the trial is for something else entirely.
The trial room gets destroyed.
No-one actually dies and the current survivors all live to chapter 6.
Double bonus!!! Chapter 6
There isn’t a trial because everyone already knows who the mastermind is.
