I saw many people said that Grace's last human touch he will ever felt was being forcefully tackled down and sedated. while I think his last human touch is him dragging his dead crewmates to the space abyss

swap au phm, Rocky and crew is human, while grace and crew is eridian.

Same plot, they're planning to send people to tau Ceti, The first time humans going to space this far. Except they didn't plan it to be a one-way mission. So everything has to be in stock for 23 people for the whole duration of going and getting back home. It's a BIG project that they have planned over the years, BCS maybe they have identified the petrova line much much earlier. Maybe years of astrophage making could be the cause of global warming? So they kinda thought it out?

I could make up stuff for human!Rocky and crew.

but I can't come up with a good reason for erid to send three crew people on a small ship to space. Is it to cut cost? Like they obviously could make astrophage easier and faster (thats why Rocky's ship has so many in the first place). Maybe they're sending their people to space as a test run? Are they even gonna stick to the one way trips?? Like they don't know the consequences of a place they can't even see or hear so they do one way trips only?

Should they have as big room as the original blip-a? Should Eridian!Grace's have a 23 crew also? And Human!Rocky's the one with three groups?

Or grace and Rocky just swap places, but nothing changed in terms of places? Like Rocky's an engineer that was approached by Eva stratt, and volunteered himself to go to space. But he's the only one survived bcs he has the coma gene and others didn't?

Maybe people on earth didn't know coma genes was a thing until Grace check his DNA out with the others (that was still in the ship somehow, maybe he couldn't bear to let them out to space. They need proper burials on earth yknow) . Grace showing Rocky the comparison on his little textured tablet, and Rocky just devastated by this information.

Ik Eridian!Grace would have a field day learning abt relativity and radiation, and Rocky trying to explain it in a best way he can. I mean ofc he would be horrified and sad abt this bcs his crew died bcs of something he can't help but he'd be intrigued to learn relativity and radiation.

But he survived the radiation somehow? maybe the last eridians alive there was grace and this one engineer crew bcs both workspaces were near the astrophage fuel. But still doesn't explain why the engineer dies first and grace survived.

Maybe he Does firsthand experiments with astrophages more than the engineer, just fixing the fuel and do mechanic stuff, so he just gets secondhand protection? Oohh that would be so sad and angst thoo for years Grace's mechanic crew/friend dying slowly bcs of the radiation and there's nothing he could do except watch and be there till their very lat moments. This would be a great reason grace is so emotional and caring.

That reminds me can eridians tell different human genes apart just from sounds and echolocation? Bcs if it did, it would be so funny, and a perfect Segway for grace as an eridian microbiologist.

Man Rocky's crew dwindling, dying one by one, that's gotta be devastating...

Like imagine one or two of your 23 people crew suddenly dies of unexplainable causes. You guys grieved, but you guys have to continue your mission. One by one, every crew dies and you guys probably start to panic.

I can only think when there's only 2 people left, They set up a funeral for the previous crews that are dead. rocky and one other crew, keep by each other's company, promising to watch each other bcs of the paranoia of one of them would be dead first.

Rocky and last crew fought over who's get to work in their designated area bcs their place is out of each other's range of hearing. Like they're considering going home bcs of this but if they go home then Erid will die bcs their sun is dying as well.

Rocky went to the last crew's place and realized they're already dead. Rocky setting up one last funeral for the last crew all alone. (Maybe he's preparing one more for himself as well)

idk if its bad for me to think like this, but sometimes i think abt stratt. a pity probably. to me she's forced to have this tough shell even tho she's just as afraid as anyone else.

she was in charge for the petrova line space project thing,finding researchers, engineers, and scientists all over the world to solve this problem that could end every life on earth? idk i just thought how that was a huge pressure to take, like wow...

do you think she still feels guilt years after forcefully sending grace off? the immense relief when she finds out not only grace was fine, but also confidently decided himself that he's not going back home to save his alien friend. and she see said alien friend from the tapes he sent. do you think she feels proud? does she even allowed to feel proud after betraying grace?

goind on a tangent, people are underutilizing the potential stories of bill and mcgucket pre-portal incident.

like what if bill approached mcgucket instead of ford?

like if bill have to play around with ford's self worth and ego. bill could play around with mcgucket's faith. (i mean its bill ofc he'd trick anyone to do his bidding)

yea its probably going to be alot more harder with how much mcgucket hate the idea of something eldritch and dangerous like bill after the portal incident (even before that) and try to erase it in any way. he's a genius engineer that still believes in god, superstitious, and doesn't fond or like any anomalies in gravity falls as much as ford does.

but if bill managed to convinced mcgucket to BELIEVE him and convinced mcgucket to build the portal then bill would've had higher chance of succeeding in going over to the their dimension and start the weirdmageddon earlier. if bill can manipulate mcgucket, then manipulating ford would just be a walk in the park.

mcgucket had the capability of making an actual cult. whats the possibility and chances of him making or rebuilding the ciphertology? he'd be a good PR for bill's reputation. then bill would rule the world easier the end :p
