tbqh i dont remember the past two weeks um... i gave the lady in the counselors office my kitkat bar! mostly bc i already had some m&ms but i think that counts

that sucks!! what steps have you taken to try and contact them about the art??

I don’t know. Honestly? Probably nothing. I’m pretty sure they won’t actually care, since 1) I created it as a student under their roof, as a graphic for the yearbook, and 2) they have a long track record of ignoring students and alumna that don’t fit into their narrow view of what “success” is.

I’m not even that mad about the use of the artwork. It’s just that these people, of everyone, are the ones who went there. It’s not a grand piece of art-- just a little graphic based on some historic ironwork in the schoolhouse. But from an institution that gleefully turned a blind eye when I was bullied and ridiculed, or had panic attacks in class, or expressed an overt desire to study biology and was denied the opportunity, it’s just too much.
