I bet mh wilds will be great but i cant for the life of me not feel like part of the soul for me in the franchize was lost since mhgenult. I miss the jank, i miss the obtuse mechanics, i miss the feeling of the game feeling like this mastery challenge learning.

I keep coming back to mh4u and gen ult. I havent finished iceborn and rise. I think i feel sad the game sanded off the edges of what i like so much it turned into a very *fine* experience. Theres something i admired and appreciated on mh being basically the exact same since the ps2. Like a low budget franchise that was perfect for it niche audience. It just kept chugging forward adding more and more content.

I like new gen mh. I just wish i could love it like i did the older ones.

Copyright is not a tool of oppression, its a tool for the people. It became fucking helllike when shitty ass michael rat got its gross lil hands over it twisting it so hard to benefit the worst people alive.

Being against copyright means you think intellectual property capitalist anarchism is a good thing, which i fucking dont. Being aganist copyright laws however, thats where you actually benefit artists, not groups, people. People who actually make the things you like.

People in here are just so fucking stuck in a black or white consumer mentality it actively hurts.

Unfriendly reminder that DNIs do not fucking work. They do nothing. People dont go looking up everyones bios to see if they can interact with them or not. If you like to put DNIs in your bio thats fine, but you gotta understand that they do zilch, zero, nada. The only reason you put it there is to feel reasured that you *seem* like a cooler person that agrees with a comunities values and want to show it to everyone.

Just like triggers and mental illnesses in bios, the only thing youre doing is showing weakpoints someone with malicious intent can and will use aganist you for no reason. If you put them there, thats fine AS LONG as you understand the actual impact having that information displayed to everyone, not only people with good intentions but also bad actors.
