Spooky Mai-Tai! BOO!

Hibiscus tea and Jolly Rancher Sour Cherry gelatin. It's not that sweet and I didn't have to add extra sugar. The flavor reminds me of berries and the color reminded me of blood. Perfect for a spooky hot drink in October and I thought to share it with you all.

Had some fun messing around and coming up with a "swamp water" cocktail for my Halloween party, so I thought I'd share the recipe! These can be made with or without alcohol.

I don't have exact measurements because I just kinda threw stuff together until it tasted good so here ya go, to make 1 serving;

(1) shot apple-flavored vodka (optional)

(1) spoonful pumpkin puree

(1) swirl pumpkin spice flavored whipped cream

Roasted cinnamon to taste

Ground nutmeg to taste

(5) drops of honey

(5) drops maple syrup

(2) drops green food coloring

(1) full cinnamon stick

Some broken pieces of another cinnamon stick

Fill whatever space is left with apple cider

Mix it all together and enjoy your spooky drink.

Since I got offered Spooky Drinks tonight with activated charcoal in them to make them black, this is your Halloweeny reminder not to consume charcoal if you’re on any oral medications! It can interfere with pretty much anything taken by mouth (including supplements/vitamins) by binding to it and preventing it being absorbed by the body, and should be avoided at least 2 hours before or after meals or medications.

(I put plain edible glitter in mine instead and had some unicorn potion :P which still rocked)
