AGE: Biologically, 15. Mentally, around 8. Created in 1950.
APPEARANCE: Similar to ‘normal’ Shadow, with scars crossing face and body. Often seen wearing a blue scarf. Dark blue or baby blue, but never navy. Sometimes carries a bag full of hypodermic needles. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU TO ALLOW SAID NEEDLES TO TOUCH YOU. It is unknown where he got these needles, but all of them contain fluids that are either very poisonous or very unpleasant. All cause death… eventually. Usually sporting a grin, but looks somewhat confused, as if just woken up.
PERSONALITY: Fluctuates greatly. About half the time, can barely speak through sobbing for old ‘family’. From reports gathered, said ‘family’ was his creator, Anti-Gerald and his granddaughter, Anti-Maria. Both were incredibly manipulative, and influenced subject greatly. More in HISTORY. In this state, subject is somewhat easy to sedate and contain. It is unknown what the trigger for this state is.
On the other personality, subject hardly seems like the same person. Subject is manic, speaks in a sing-songy voice, and is highly sadistic, appearing to enjoy pain, both of subject’s self and of others. In this state, no one is to engage subject. Subject is HIGHLY DANGEROUS. No one has escaped after encountering subject while in this state. Nothing is known of the trigger for this state.
Subject’s ‘halves’ are barely strung together, and subject floats between them, though apparently not by subject’s own will. Subject seems as confused as anyone about why they are like this. Subject can identify themselves, but sometimes claims to be ‘better’ than others, especially in the more ‘wild’ state. Subject often seems confused about themself, and has frequent memory lapses. These lapses usually involve recent events, (within the last few days, or even the last few hours) but memories about before being sealed usually return fairly quickly if forgotten. Subject will do anything to regain said memories, including capture and probable torture of anything or anyone subject thinks can help.
Subject retained a mental age of 7-8 from creation to present day. They don’t seem to realize the extent of what they do, and due to their immortality don’t understand the finality of death, often referring to victims they have killed as ‘just sleeping’.

Subject was created for biological weapons research, led by Anti-Doctor Gerald Robotnik. (Anti-Doctor Gerald Robotnik will be referred simply to Dr. Robotnik for the remainder of this document for simplicity reasons. Any references to Prime Robotnik will be marked as such.)
Subject’s ‘childhood’ was marked mostly by harsh training. Subject rested very little if at all, and spent at least twenty out of every twenty four hours training for battles. Security video from the Ark attached shows a section of one of the sessions. Video has been restored in color from the original black and white and sharpened as best as HQ could.
"Come on, you can do better than that!" Maria leaned against a railing, watching Shadow roundhouse kick a dummy of a little boy. "That’s just a kid, you should be able to rip his head off without trying."
"I know." Shadow’s voice seemed to catch in his throat, and he bit his lip. "But do I have to-" Maria narrowed her eyes.
"Of course you do… brother." She practically had to spit it out, but Shadow brightened. "You want to be able to protect everyone, don’t you?" She smiled, and Shadow smiled back before turning back to the dummy and grabbing it by the hand, swinging it into the wall hard. The head fell off and he let it drop, clutching the arm.
HISTORY CONT: It is unknown what the role of Anti-Black Doom held in Anti-Shadow’s creation, but given the pattern of the Antiverse, it was likely he was peaceful and attempted to use Shadow to engineer a way to create immortality for the Anti-Arms.
After subject’s second year on the Ark, GUN raided the station in an attempt to free the subjects. Nearly all of them were destroyed by Gerald and his team of scientists, likely in an attempt to stop GUN from finding out what they’d done. However, the subject panicked, attacking and killing several soldiers before apparently realizing what they’d done and hiding in a capsule. Maria found him, and locked him inside, but was hit by a bullet intended for the lock of the room containing the subject. The soldier who shot the bullet (who has wished to remain anonymous) said that “She turned to him, and I could see the shocked look mixed with horror in the glass, before it melted into rage, and she mouthed something I couldn’t tell. I think it was ‘this is your fault’, though.”
The soldier took one last look at the subject before running off, and the capsule ejected when a falling ceiling tile hit the lever with just enough force to activate it. Subject was rendered unconscious, and was dropped down to the planet. They ended up in the ocean, and washed into a cave near a beach. Somehow, the subject pushed themselves into a self-induced coma.
Subject was left alone for roughly 50 years, until discovered by Anti-Sonic who was at the age of thirteen. He unlocked subject’s capsule and quickly picked him up as a sidekick of sorts, before likely realizing that subject could turn on him easily and locked subject up in a top security cell in an abandoned asylum. Subject escaped said asylum seven months ago, and is currently on the run. Any sightings are to be reported to HQ immediately.
