I really vibe with your post about Caracalla and his vulnerability, and Idk if you saw the video where Fred Hechinger says that really both twins have needs that have never been met all their lives, and what they really crave is to be held and taken care of.
That is especially true for Caracalla who I feel deep down wants tenderness, and I’m trying to write a fic about that of him falling for (or obsessing over) someone that he feels she can give him that tender love he’s always craved. 🥺

I did see the video where Fred talks about the twins' unmet needs, and I think it adds so much depth to their dynamic. It’s heartbreaking, really, to think about how, despite all their power and privilege, they were essentially two lost boys craving love and care;;
The idea that both Caracalla and Geta wanted to be held and cared for feels so poignant, especially when you consider how their relationship with each other was likely their only source of understanding, but also the root of so much conflict. I think their inability to meet each other’s needs, combined with their roles as emperors, created this tragic spiral where they couldn’t fully be vulnerable with anyone.
And please, do write! It would be very interesting to read and I'd love to know what kind of character you think would draw his attention! There’s so much potential to explore his emotional depth, his contradictions, and how his love (or fixation) could be both his salvation and his undoing 🤭
