What does they say about Broadchurch? I’m sorry I didn’t understand it well.
In a nutshell, he said that they increasingly did keep the actors separated from each other on Broadchurch. In the past David has told the story of them keeping the actor who plays Joe separate & hidden in Season 2 so none of the onlookers around to watch filming would find out and leak that he was there, and they kept him away from the other actors in the hope that when he made his appearance in the courtroom in Episode 1 it would make the actors react (although they did know he was there - so it isn’t quite the same). David told Billie that it was director James Strong (who they also worked with on Doctor Who) who was excited about doing it.
Cutely, Billie knows David well enough to know that David doesn’t exactly subscribe to this theory of tricking the actors into acting.
