Taking the spool end table to a whole other level.

 I paper mache'd the top part and the yoke [with cardboard and paper strips cut from a crappy hateful book my ex left here] to flatten them out and make them acceptable for painting. Then I used three sticky-back tiles to make a patchwork mosaic top and cover the bottom part of the spool. The bottom could use some felt furniture feet, but overall I'm pleased with the results. :)

 Total cost, one bottle of Elmers glue and less then $1 worth of tiles. The paint I already had and the rest was junk.
