Sometimes I remember that I have a friend who saw a text post of mine about feeling awful at like 1 am, texted me, came over, took me to get a pint of ice cream (one for me, one for them), and sat with me for probably a good hour and a half at a playground, eating ice cream and talking and just... being there for me.

And I am so intensely grateful for them.

It's like that for me, too. I assumed it was my crappy computer's fault and took to writing text posts on notepad and copy pasting it to tumblr. And now I have a record of all the posts I would've otherwise deleted so that's pretty cool

Yeah I've been writing in either notepad or the url bar. and notepad is actually a very nice way to write things so its not too bad. if it gets fixed i'll let you know how.

Sorry for reblogging everything, I just found this blog and though I graduated from DI in 2009 this is taking me right back. This blog is great and even though it's not active I'm glad it exists

Don't apologize, we're glad that you like it!! It's always nice to meet other alumni; I graduated from DI in 2012. :)

Squirrels are a big deal. If I’m recalling correctly the squirrel feeding club has 300+ members. This school has some interesting priorities.

My mom taught me how to crochet when I was so young I don't even remember learning. For years I didn't know how to start a project though and had to have her do it for me until one time she was too busy so I sat down and figured it out for myself. After that I was pretty sporadic about crocheting until about 5 years ago when I learned about amigurumi and found Knit and Crochet Today on PBS around the same time and fell completely in love with crocheting.

Aw, yiss, proven right. And tomorrow you’re waking up early *and* leaving the house. These are well recognized things that are difficult and exhausting. Your weekend sounds like a ton of work.

Fine, fine. That doesn't change the fact that I'm a waste of space.
