A sketchy idea of child!Delphi
This would be about when she reaches “school age” and can maintain a form beyond her hatchling one.
She was fascinated with her dad’s long, flowing hair from infancy and was very disappointed hers couldn’t grow out that way due to genetics - so Arin started buying her fancy headbands and barrettes and it wasn’t long before Del was after wigs as well. Her collection will likely be extensive by the time she’s a young adult.
Arin takes a lot of joy in buying/sewing her only daughter’s clothes, perhaps partially due to wanting to make sure Del (and of course all the other kiddos) have the childhood she never was able to have herself. Fortunately, Delphi seems to be a fan of the cute style Arin favours - at least for now.
Delphi stares off into space - or more correctly, what exists within it beyond the naked eye’s abilities - but she still loves running and adventuring with her brothers as well.
Due to her being the offspring of a Soulforger, she experiences and sees things quite differently from other children... she also tends to have a static charge built up. It might be why she tends to keep her arms and hands to herself so often.
