Spooptober Check-In

I had planned on posting my TBR on Saturday buuuut I’ve decided to be a complete weirdo and just kinda...not have a TBR. I’ve got a whole boatload of spooky books to read and my mood has been kind of going in and out on what I actually want to read so I’m gonna wing it!

I’ve already completed The Shining by Stephen King and thank GOD! The book was fantastic, far better than the movie, but ugh, I think I’m burning myself out on King because I’ve read like 5 of his books so far this month. 

I’m currently reading Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab and it’s super cute! I flew through a 100 pages this morning so I expect to have it finished by tomorrow. I think I’ll pick up The Last Life of Prince Alastor by Alexandra Bracken but IDK. I just need something light-ish and not quite so dense.

I do want to finish NOS4A2 by Joe Hill, definitely want to read Firestarter by Stephen King since I specifically saved it for this time of year, and I really would like to read Doctor Sleep just because the movie comes out in two weeks and the husband wants to go see that and absolutely insists that I read the book first. There’s so much I want to actually read and my mood keeps shifting so we’ll see!
