It just annoys me so much that after a really good performance like last week ( where Lance was barely recognised from going to 20 to 10 ) that he does a mistake and everyone starts bad mouthing him. Like he does recognise it was his mistake, and it isn't like a handful drivers goes in to the wall by their own mistake per season.
Yep, I mean I agree with everything you've said. Lance himself said it in an interview (i think the 1.5 hour one on yt) that he could have a great day and put in one of his best performances and it'll be overlooked but the second he makes a mistake he'll be crucified and people will hold it over his head for ages.
They all make mistakes, ofc they do they're only human no matter how much the promoters like to hype them up as god like beings, that's marketing bs, but other drivers can make a mistake have it be called an off day and still be treated as the next coming of God to grace an F1 track but no Lance is dirt and gets slurs thrown at him.
I'm sick of it, I'm so sick of f1 media to the point I watch the race only no build up no post race show just the race and the interviews of the drivers I care about. To call some the people working with f1 journalists is such a stretch, half of them are just 'personalities' who talk too much and I'm not listening
