Hello, when can we expect the gifts for our indiegogo donations?

Hi! 

The winners of the limited edition perks were contacted via email last Tuesday. Most of the gifts/perks are already in the mail and should arrive soon! Personalized video, voicemail greetings, and the autographed Sean Maher posters will be delivered before the end of the month (most likely within the next two weeks).

This might be a stupid question but are the perks selected at the indiegogo Spotlight on Diversity project prizes you CAN win or gifts you WILL get? Is a donation an entry in a lotery or is a donation basically 'buying' something?

Hi! Not a stupid question at all! The answer is that it depends on the perk. If the perk says you'll get a membership to our SpotDiversity Club, then it's an entry to win. If it doesn't mention that, then it's a perk you WILL receive. 

So the perks you WILL get with donation:

$25 Video of Spotlight on Diversity Event

That’s correct!

One of the goals of our fundraisers has always been to make sure as many fans and supporters as possible have the chance to participate. So, we’ve changed the structure of this giveaway to be more in line with our previous work and maximize the chance for fans to have a chance to receive a perk they’ll love while supporting diverse youth & indie media makers pursuing media and performing arts.

We’re proud to introduce our SpotDiversity Club! This new initiative is a loyalty reward program to continuously say thank you to our supporters. Club members receive guaranteed entries into all of our future giveaways & a percentage off tickets to our future SpotDiversity events (our next Spotlight on Diversity will be in early 2015 & focus on women in media!), & are entered to win a perk of their choice.
